Fancy a CBD Latte or CBD tea? Here are some CBD Recipes!

Jun 3, 2021 | Edibles

CBD is a wonderful compound found in Cannabis Sativa plants and it can help people relieve certain conditions. Studies have been conducted to show CBD can help those with chronic pain and muscle inflammation[1]. There are also mental health conditions it could aid in such as depression[2], anxiety[3], panic attacks[4], and even seizure disorders[5]. Sleep studies have also found CBD oils to be beneficial to insomniacs[6]. But overall, the CBD isolate can really help with your endocannabinoid system.

Perhaps you’re thinking of starting to use CBD products to help relieve some of these conditions, but you’re unsure of how to begin. There are many ways to include cannabinoids into your endocannabinoid system such as CBD capsules, vaping e-liquids, topical moisturisers, CBD tinctures and sublingual oils (that’s where you drop it under your tongue). CBD oils seem to offer the most long-lasting effects, maybe that’s why they happen to be the most popular way of taking CBD! In this ultimate guide of cooking with CBD, we will discuss why people choose to cook recipes and adding CBD and list some of our favourite CBD recipes.

Why Cook with CBD?

Sublingual oils are not for everyone and that’s OK. It can be difficult counting the amount of drops you have squeezed out and then there’s the matter of keeping it under your tongue for two minutes multiple times a day. You also may realise that CBD oil has no flavouring added to it, so it tastes quite earthy, which isn’t pleasant for many people. But you shouldn’t rule out CBD oils because if you happen to not like the taste, you can use homemade CBD recipes. This method gets rid of the unpalatable taste and inconvenient dosing methods.

Creative ways of adding CBD emerged from people not enjoying the standard techniques, so incorporating cannabidiol oil while preparing dinner recipes, dessert recipes or drinks is a fun and rewarding way to get CBD into your endocannabinoid system to work it’s magic and there are many healthy recipes to include your dose of CBD too. You can leave your delicious dinner recipes, snacks and drinks in the fridge to get a generous serving of CBD oil each day.

What CBD Recipes Can You Make?

You may be thinking of what CBD oil can be added to. The truth is that it’s pretty much anything! There are many recipes (dinner recipes and dessert recipes) using CBD and we can list plenty, including gluten-free and vegan-friendly recipes.
